Her Story

As a child, Inej traveled Ravka with her family of acrobatic performers in a Suli caravan. One night, she was captured by slavers and sent to Ketterdam as an indenture to the Menagerie pleasure house at 14 years old.
At 15, she joined Kaz Brekker's gang, the Dregs. Later, she became the feared Wraith, Kaz's second-in-command known for stealth and acrobatics. She, alongside her friends, undertake an impossible heist and dangerous missions throughout the Six of Crows duology before becoming the reverred Captain Ghafa who hunts slavers across the seas.
